Our team is dedicated to advancing clinical solutions for women's health, maternal-fetal health, and preterm birth. With a focus on understanding the adaptive and innate immune responses involved in these conditions, we use innovative microfluidic tissue models of the female reproductive tract, placenta, lung, and lymph node to uncover the mechanisms behind disease progression and drug transport.
Our approach leverages experimental, computational, and machine learning techniques to design drug-delivery approaches for therapeutic effect, with a strong emphasis on translating our findings from the bench to the bedside and market. We are driven by solving real-life problems.
